Fabulous 500 is part of our masterplan to become self sustainable. We offer each of our Mega Mentors/the companies they represent the opportunity to donate £500 for each year that they are with us. Our current economic climate has forced charities to think out of the box in terms of funding sources, but this is not our only reason for our drive to self sufficiency.
Mega Mentors is all about the sharing of wealth…whether that be knowledge, opportunity, emotional or financial, and it is this holistic approach that helps to create something beautiful between mentor and mentee. Sourcing funding from within is not for us an ‘alternative’ to the traditional sources, but is actually wrapped up in the overall ethos of the project, where those who are privileged have a vehicle which enables them to share directly with those who are less so.
